Hi, I’m Roger — Senior UX Designer

Over the past 20 years, I’ve created user-centered designs for responsive web, mobile, desktop, and hardware-based interfaces that span Medical, Consumer Health, Life Sciences, Aviation, Consumer Electronics, Non-Profit, and EdTech industries.
I’ve mentored and led UX teams, integrated agile methodologies, and built design systems that connect design and development — always with an emphasis on usability, performance, and measurable results.
Whether leading a team or working as an army of one, I embrace challenges that demand creativity, rigor, with a focus on delivering predictable, effective user experiences.
As a former board member of the New Hampshire chapter of the UXPA, I’m committed to supporting the UX community and advancing collaboration across the many disciplines within the field of user experience.
How I Work
I’m all about efficiency and clarity. I streamline workflows by choosing tools and processes that deliver results, allowing me to design complex, data-driven interfaces with less iteration and more precision. I rely on data to guide decisions, and when it isn’t available, I find ways to get it — through research, testing, or observation.
Details matter to me because they’re what make or break a great experience. I treat project constraints as valuable guides, helping me focus effort where it will be most effective.
As a leader, I believe in collaboration, transparency, and shared ownership. I like to align teams through open discussion, then move into focused execution — independently or in small groups. Whether managing or contributing, I stay hands-on and committed to a user-centered development process that keeps everyone moving in the same direction.
More About Me
Curiosity has driven me from the start. As a kid, I took things apart to see how they worked — and rarely put them back together the same way. That instinct to improve and refine still guides my work today. I see opportunities for better usability, efficiency, and experience everywhere, and I thrive on turning those opportunities into practical design solutions.
A native New Englander, I currently live in South-Eastern New Hampshire with my wife and kids where we can enjoy time at the coast, mountains, or in Boston.
